About the role
This is hands-on cloud security inside a real security org, working alongside a US-based cloud security team. You will respond to, triage, and investigate alerts using cloud logs and endpoint telemetry, review cloud configuration changes, operate identity and access across AWS and GCP with least-privilege reviews, and run and tune EDR, CSPM, SIEM, and cloud-native security services. Python for automation. On-call rotation, CLT employment, and two to three days a week in the São Paulo office.
What you will own
- Alert response, triage, and investigation across AWS and GCP using cloud logs and endpoint telemetry.
- Identity and access operations with least-privilege reviews across both clouds.
- Operating and tuning EDR, CSPM, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning, and driving remediation with engineering.
- Python automation for security operations.
What we are looking for
- Currently a security engineer on a dedicated security team with three or more years in security operations or cloud security, even if you came in from DevOps or infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of AWS with an emphasis on IAM, and real experience investigating cloud security alerts.
- Writes Python for automation.
- Based in or willing to relocate to São Paulo, comfortable with CLT employment and on-call.
Nice to have
- GCP, containers, or Kubernetes exposure.
- AWS or security certifications, home labs, CTFs, or security side projects.
- Clear English for working with a US-based team.
